From the Founder
In 2016, I felt a pull to move to New York City from Belgium and follow my musings to create a new life for myself. At the start of my impending journey to this moment, I was gifted a Nefertiti necklace from a friend as an almost marker of my life-changing decision. This piece has been in my life for almost a decade since my voyage into new territories. Corecet was born from the very moment that gift touched my neck as it’s an identifier for me even as I've evolved over the years.

I was known to be expressive and even rebellious at times. This unabashed, fiery sense of self shaped the launch of this brand for other women to embody for themselves. Even after landing a job in New York, I felt the allure to create content so much, I took another leap and quit my 9-5 to pursue a creative career. Throughout all these huge decisions, I’ve had my Nefertiti necklace throughout each era of my life. Stories like mine can be immortalized through tangible pieces like my Nefertiti necklace—and I want to offer time stamps with my jewelry designs.
